The PGIM Strategy team at Prudential Financial in Newark, NJ is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate to join a high-performing unit supporting senior leaders in developing strategic priorities. You will tackle market evaluation, competitor analysis, and potential acquisitions across global investment businesses.

You will present findings to senior management and collaborate with investment, distribution, finance, and corporate teams in a hybrid office-based setting that emphasizes collaboration

Qualifications

• BA Required with strong academic background
• 2-4 years of experience, preferably in internal strategy, management consulting, or banking
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Passion for problem solving
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Executive presence and the composure to interact with senior leaders

Responsibilities

• Develop problem statements and structure problem solving approaches to PGIM’s most critical challenges
• Establish the fact-base to aid in answering the PGIM senior management’s most pressing questions
• Conduct strategic analyses of markets, competitors, products, and client segments to identify growth opportunities across PGIM’s global investment businesses.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for senior executives, management committees, and board-level discussions.
• Lead competitor intelligence, industry benchmarking, and thematic research initiatives covering traditional and alternative asset management.
• Support corporate development, partnership evaluation, and business planning efforts through commercial due diligence and financial analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives, working closely with investment, distribution, finance, and corporate leadership teams to drive execution of key priorities
