Job summary

Prudential Ins Co of America’s PGIM unit seeks a Strategy Senior Analyst/Associate in Newark, NJ, offering a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). You will support the CEO and leadership on critical priorities, including market evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, and competitive analysis.

You’ll gain exposure to asset management and build a broad strategy toolkit while presenting findings to senior management and being mentored by leaders in the field.

Qualifications

• BA required with strong academic background.
• 2–4 years of experience in internal strategy, management consulting, or banking.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Executive presence and ability to interact with senior leaders.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop problem statements and structure problem solving approaches for PGIM's challenges.
• Establish the fact-base to answer senior management questions.
• Conduct strategic analyses of markets, competitors, products, and client segments.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for senior executives and committees.
• Lead competitive intelligence and industry benchmarking initiatives.
• Support corporate development and due diligence with financial analysis.
• Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives with investment, distribution, finance, and leadership teams.
