Job summary

Hilton Minneapolis Airport is seeking a proactive Sales Manager to drive aggressive external and internal solicitation, support the Director of Sales with the annual marketing plan, and manage proposals to convert leads. You will gather essential group details and coordinate with catering for VIP arrangements.

The role is full-time, based at the Minneapolis airport property, with a compensation range starting at $65,000 and going up to $75,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in aggressive solicitation and outside/inside sales.
• Ability to prepare and execute marketing plans.
• Skill in sending and following up proposals to convert leads.
• Ability to document necessary group details (billing, credit, rooming lists, VIP arrangements).

Responsibilities

• Conduct a successful solicitation process with outside calls, inside appointments, calls, letters and mail.
• Assist Director of Sales in preparing the annual marketing plan and market segment action plans.
• Send proposals for leads that fit the profile and actively convert to definite status.
• Capture and route group details (billing, credit app, rooming list, VIP arrangements) and coordinate with catering.
