The Langham Chicago is seeking aGroup Sales professional to drive rooms and banquet revenue within designated markets. You will balance reactive and proactive group sales activities, cover a designated territory, and develop new vertical markets for groups of 16+ rooms per night.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in Catering or Group Sales at a luxury hotel, with strong negotiation skills and a proactive sales approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of Catering or Group Sales experience, ideally in a luxury hotel.
• Prefer a four-year college degree or commensurate management experience.
• Desirable wedding market knowledge and guest relations training.

Responsabilités

• Meet group sales booking goals to achieve budget.
• Proactively solicit new accounts and cultivate existing ones.
• Conduct site inspections to close business.
• Prepare proposals to maximize profit while meeting client needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Langham services and competitive offerings.
