Job summary

The Langham, Chicago is seeking a Senior Conference Services Manager to lead planning and execution of luxury events. You will collaborate with the DOSM, catering, and banquet teams to optimize resources, upsell offerings, and deliver personalized attendee experiences.

The role emphasizes strong interpersonal leadership, proactive problem-solving, and strategic coordination across departments to align with budgeted expectations and elevate service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; however, any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior conference services role and two years of supervisory experience.
• Proven track record of leading project teams to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize conference services by maximizing resources to enhance upsell efforts.
• Develop upsell programs for F&B, meeting room rental and amenities to meet budgeted revenues.
• Collaborate with directors and managers to launch new initiatives and ensure flawless event execution.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external customers.
