Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking a Strategic Grants & Funding Manager to coordinate the full funding lifecycle—from identifying opportunities to ensuring awarded funds are managed effectively and outcomes are achieved. This role reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and collaborates with Programs, Finance, and Leadership to align resources with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of experience in grants management, institutional giving, grant writing, government contracts, nonprofit program management, or a related field.
• Experience with government grants or contracts preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate funding opportunities that support Easterseals Florida's mission and strategic goals.
• Coordinate the development of grant proposals, applications, and funding requests in partnership with program and organizational leaders.
• Serve as the central point of coordination among Philanthropy, Programs, Finance, and Leadership for grant-related activities.
• Guide the management of grants and contracts throughout the funding lifecycle, ensuring compliance, accountability, and successful execution.
• Monitor grant performance, outcomes, budgets, and spending to identify opportunities, challenges, and potential risks.
• Analyze programmatic and financial information to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports and communications that demonstrate impact, outcomes, and responsible stewardship of funding.
• Help strengthen funder relationships by supporting proactive communication, transparency, and exceptional stewardship.
