Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking a Strategic Grants & Funding Manager to coordinate our funding portfolio and connect Philanthropy, Programs, Finance, and Leadership to turn funding opportunities into mission impact.

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, this role oversees the full funding lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to ensuring awarded funds are managed effectively and outcomes achieved, with strong funder stewardship across the state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years of experience in grants management, institutional giving, or related fields.
• Experience with government grants or contracts preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ownership.
• Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with quality.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial aptitude.
• Excellent writing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet, and donor databases.
• Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach.
• Ability to meet driver qualifications to drive Easterseals Florida business needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate funding opportunities that support Easterseals Florida's mission and goals.
• Coordinate grant proposals, applications, and funding requests with program and leadership.
• Serve as central coordination point among Philanthropy, Programs, Finance and Leadership.
• Guide management of grants and contracts throughout the lifecycle with compliance and accountability.
• Monitor grant performance, budgets, outcomes, and spending for risks and opportunities.
• Analyze programmatic and financial information to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports showing impact and responsible stewardship of funding.
• Strengthen funder relationships through proactive communication and transparency.
