Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin on UT MAIN CAMPUS is seeking a Grants & Contracts Specialist in the Special Education department to provide pre- and post-award research administration support for the Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk.

The role includes budgets, travel arrangements, payments, contracts, and proposal preparation, with required qualifications including a Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; CRA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience in pre- and post-award research administration.
• Experience in higher education setting preferred.
• CRA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor budgets for research projects and assist with amendments and reports.
• Coordinate travel for staff, consultants, and participants and arrange accommodations.
• Process payments, contracts and purchasing for staff and participants.
• Update administrative spreadsheets and manage files.
• Assist in preparing proposals for sponsoring agencies according to guidelines and deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
