Job summary

SAN-Joaquin-Delta-College is seeking a Grants Operations Manager to lead grant planning, budgeting, and program design under the terms of a special project grant. The role involves coordinating with college programs, partners, and staff, and overseeing recruitment, training, and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in grant operations, supervision, and data collection to demonstrate compliance with grant conditions. Some evenings and irregular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Three years of experience in grant operations with at least one year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Valid Class C California Driver's License by appointment; evenings and some weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Implements planning activities for advisory committees, recruitment, orientation, and marketing of the program.
• Coordinates with college programs, personnel and community partners for the grant project.
• Interviews, supervises, trains and evaluates staff.
• Designs program according to grant terms and coordinates with agencies.
• Publicizes the project and designs recruitment procedures.
• Conducts meetings, presents workshops, and facilitates program design.
• Coordinates project operations, training activities, and support programs; advises participants.
• Administers program budget and monitors expenditures.
• Collects and compiles data to demonstrate grant compliance and develops recommendations for the funder.
• Prepares reports and presentations for local and state workshops and conferences.
