Job summary

Butler, Fairman, Seufert (BF&S) seeks an experienced sales representative to operate from our Lafayette, Indiana office. You will manage relationships with current clients and identify new prospects to win civil engineering projects and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline.

You will serve as a trusted adviser on infrastructure programs, develop a strategic plan with local government contacts, and coordinate with BF&S teams to respond to RFPs and deliver results for clients in the greater

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in complex B2B or government-focused sales.
• Deep knowledge of the Lafayette, Indiana region and local government structure.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate relationships with elected officials and staff at city, town, and county levels in the Lafayette region.
• Act as trusted adviser on civil engineering projects and manage a client pipeline.
• Lead or support responses to RFPs with Marketing and Technical teams.
• Prepare sales forecasts, activity and expense reports for leadership review.
• Maintain close liaison between BF&S clients and staff to ensure strong collaboration.
