Job summary

Butler, Fairman and Seufert is seeking a Site Project Manager/Engineer for our Lafayette, Indiana office. You will work with the site team on private, state, and locally funded projects across Indiana, coordinating with clients on site developments of varying size.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background, 6+ years site development experience, and an Indiana PE or ability to obtain. Strong communication and CAD skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of site development experience.
• Indiana PE license or ability to obtain within negotiated period of time.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing project scope, schedule, and budgets for new projects.
• Assist in constructability reviews of projects and with utility work plans.
• Mentor young engineers and CAD designers.
• Coordinate with other support departments and sub-consultants for all project elements.
• Assist with developing proposals for private and state projects.
• Review, approve, and perform design calculations.
• Review drawings and develop plans for multiple projects while prioritizing schedules.
• Meet with clients to discuss project needs and recommendations.
