Butler, Fairman, and Seufert (BF&S) is seeking a Road Department Project Manager to work from our Indianapolis office to deliver state and locally funded projects across Indiana. The role involves coordinating with clients on a variety of projects from our Indianapolis location.

You will lead design directives, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and mentor engineers and CAD designers. Indiana PE license or eligibility within six months is required, with strong communication and INDOT process

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years of road experience.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• Indiana PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide design directives and manage project tasks for Federal Aid, INDOT, and/or local projects from notice to proceed through post letting services.
• Assist with developing project scope, schedule, and budgets for new projects.
• Mentor young engineers and CAD designers.
• Coordinate with other support departments and sub-consultants for all project elements.
• Assist with developing Letters of Interest (LOI) for local and state projects.
• Review and approve design calculations.
• Review drawings and plans for multiple projects while prioritizing schedules.
• Meet with clients to discuss project needs and recommendations.
