Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• JD, Master's in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in government/public policy.
• Experience managing external lobbying firms and partners.
• Strong understanding of state and federal legislative and regulatory processes.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's enterprise-wide government and legislative affairs strategy.
• Advise executive leadership on legislative, regulatory, and public policy matters.
• Monitor federal, state, and local activity impacting the company.
• Build and maintain relationships with elected officials, agencies, and industry organizations.
• Lead and oversee the day-to-day Government Affairs function.
• Manage external lobbying firms and consultants to align with business priorities.
• Collaborate with Legal, Operations, HR, Communications, and Executive Leadership on initiatives.
• Prepare executive briefings, legislative analyses, and strategic recommendations.
• Develop proactive legislative strategies that protect long-term interests.
