Job summary

Systems Technology & Research, Inc. (STaR) in Huntsville, AL, seeks a detail‑oriented Project Control Analyst to manage day‑to‑day financial and contract controls for government work.

You will coordinate with PM, Accounting, Billing, and Contracts to ensure accurate project setup, funding, staffing, budgets, and invoicing. The successful candidate will monitor funding, labor assignments, and performance metrics, produce PSRs and cost reports, and help resolve discrepancies while supporting ROMs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years in Project Control or government contracting.
• Experience with CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, and Task Order contracts.
• Knowledge of FAR/JTR and DoD security clearance requirements.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Track funding and costs at contract, task order, project, and CLIN/SLIN levels.
• Monitor budgets, actuals, remaining hours, burn rates, and depletion dates.
• Prepare and maintain Unanet project data, including charge codes and labor categories.
• Prepare, issue, and maintain IWAs and realignments with approved budgets.
• Create recurring project reports: PSRs, funding reports, cost reports.
• Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy against contractual requirements.
