United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Government Affairs Manager to lead external affairs at our new launch site in Pecan Island, Louisiana. You will manage relationships with local and state government, communities, and educational outreach to advance the company’s priorities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of public affairs experience, with the ability to travel statewide and work long hours as needed. Residency near Vermilion Parish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of public affairs experience in state/local government policy, advocacy, government affairs, or crisis/issue management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with civic leaders across Pecan Island and Louisiana to support company priorities.
• Develop, maintain, and build relationships with local government officials, lawmakers, and regulatory decision-makers.
• Monitor and analyze local and regional policy developments.
• Perform research as needed, develop policy and collateral materials.
• Partner with the Communications team to identify and support outreach and messaging opportunities.
• Support the director of Government Affairs with statewide government relations priorities as needed.
