Qualifications

Must hold a JD or foreign equivalent from an ABA-accredited law school.
Bar admission in good standing in Louisiana.
8+ years advising on complex commercial transactions including real estate, land management, infrastructure development, energy, and equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead legal work for Louisiana land position, land management, lease administration, rights-of-way, and site planning.
Draft and negotiate real estate and land-use documents: purchases, leases, easements, surface-use agreements, etc.
Lead commercial real estate diligence for site development, coordinating title, survey, land-use, permitting with internal teams.
Provide legal guidance on infrastructure development for spaceport and production sites in Louisiana and beyond.
Support development of utility and energy infrastructure including power generation and interconnection.
Advise internal stakeholders in briefings with parish, state, and federal officials and regulators.
Support interlocal and municipal arrangements related to site development and logistics.
