Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Counsel, Real Estate & Infrastructure to support Starbase development in Louisiana and related spaceport projects. The role focuses on real estate, land management, energy, construction, and commercial contracting across launch sites and operations.

You will lead real estate transactions, draft leases and surface-use agreements, oversee diligence, advise on infrastructure development, collaborate with regulators, and manage outside counsel.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Bar admission in good standing in Louisiana.
• 8+ years of experience in complex commercial transactions including real estate, land management, infrastructure, energy.

Responsibilities

• Lead real estate and land-use work for Louisiana assets and related holdings.
• Draft and negotiate real estate and land-use documents, including leases and rights-of-way.
• Lead diligence for site development and long-term infrastructure planning.
• Provide legal guidance on infrastructure development for spaceport and production sites.
• Support utility and energy infrastructure development, siting and interconnection.
• Advise internal stakeholders with parish, state, and federal officials and regulators.
• Manage outside counsel and day-to-day land-related legal work in-house.
• Support community arrangements related to site development and operations.
