Job summary

Visions Federal Credit Union in Endwell, NY is seeking a Governance & Strategy Coordinator to work with executive leadership, volunteers, and teams to advance governance, strategic planning, and organizational initiatives. This on-site role coordinates meetings, travel, materials, agendas, minutes, and follow-up while aligning with policies and bylaws.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience; an equivalent combination may be considered.
• Experience providing administrative, governance, project coordination, or strategic planning support.
• Experience using data reporting tools and dashboards to compile or communicate information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn relevant platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, discretion, confidentiality, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel, agendas, minutes, presentations, records, and follow‑up.
• Support Board governance by preparing materials, tracking deadlines, and maintaining bylaws alignment.
• Coordinate strategic planning activities, reports, dashboards, documentation, and action items.
• Research industry, economic, governance, and strategic trends for leadership.
• Track budgets, reconcile expenses, and support special projects with cross‑functional partnerships.
