Job summary

GenScript USA Inc./ProBio Inc. is seeking an experienced Procurement professional in the United States to lead material, CAPEX and service procurement. You will drive cost reductions, manage supplier relationships, and ensure contractual compliance across cross-functional teams.

The role reports to the Procurement Manager and requires collaboration with production and other departments. Strong negotiation, KPI, and ERP/SAP proficiency are essential to optimize terms, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as Buyer/ Lead Buyer.
• Knowledge of industry bidding procedures and criteria.
• Strong communication, influencing, collaboration skills.
• Strong contract management and negotiations skills.
• Strong Project and change management capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to present sophisticated information in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
• Ability to improve working efficiency through KPI programs.
• Excellent computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP/SAP system.
• Experience with multi-cultural teams.
• Self-motivated over achiever.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Material/CAPEX/Service procurement.
• Responsible for purchasing and cost reduction initiatives.
• Internal/External customer focus to address issues.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, optimizing terms, cost and deliverables.
• Maintain relationships with functional managers to understand needs and challenge requirements.
• MSA, annual contract, and bid management.
• Comply with global procurement SOPs, policies and file systems.
• Review supplier performance against contracted obligations and SLAs.
• Maintain material code and configurations in ERP/SAP and S2P programs.
