Ōura is seeking a Staff Manager of Global Trade Compliance to lead our global compliance efforts across regions, ensuring adherence to import/export laws while supporting growth. You will partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to build scalable governance and efficient processes.

This role requires 8+ years in the field, regulatory expertise (EAR/ITAR), and the ability to travel up to 15%. A Customs Brokerage license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in global trade compliance or related field.
• Customs Brokerage License strongly preferred.
• Regulatory knowledge of EAR and ITAR; U.S. Customs regulations is essential.
• Experience building governance for global trade compliance programs.
• Wearable industry expertise is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global trade compliance roadmap aligned with regulations and company goals.
• Stay updated on trade laws in US, Europe, and Asia; monitor sanctions/embargoes.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory risks; implement compliant processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize compliance and operations.
• Engage Sales, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain to enable growth with compliant strategies.
• Lead internal audits and provide guidance to raise compliance standards.
• Perform commodity jurisdiction and classification for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate export/import licensing activities with program personnel.
