Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Manager for the Global Security Engineering & Supply Chain (GSE&SC) Procurement team to lead direct and indirect sourcing across hardware, software, and services, guiding strategic negotiations and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will drive cost savings, develop the team, and provide data-driven updates to leadership, while aligning procurement activities with program needs and stakeholder priorities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree 4+ years of related procurement experience may be considered.
• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain operations, or related disciplines; FAR experience preferred.
• Government contracting experience and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a procurement team across direct and indirect sourcing.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and government contracting regulations.
• Drive cost savings targets and process improvements.
• Oversee staffing, coaching, and performance management.
• Lead catalog management, RFQs, and pricing strategy.
• Monitor supplier performance and facilitate quarterly reviews.
• Maintain timely reports to program leadership.
• Foster strong supplier relationships across stakeholders.
