Job summary

Evonik is seeking a Logistics and Shipping Scheduler to oversee planning and execution of shipments at the Janesville site. You will work with the corporate logistics team to develop bulk and packaged shipment plans and coordinate with external carriers for domestic and international destinations.

The role requires manufacturing logistics experience, SAP proficiency, and strong collaboration with internal teams to meet customer delivery commitments and optimize transportation costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field in logistics or operations.
• 5+ years of manufacturing logistics or supply chain experience.
• Experience with SAP or ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate daily shipments with carriers and 3PL partners.
• Create and manage deliveries in SAP and monitor shipment status.
• Evaluate carrier performance and optimize loads and costs.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Production, and Planning to resolve constraints.
• Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency and on-time delivery.
