Job summary

American International Group (AIG) seeks an experienced Manager, Internal Communications to support HR and Legal & Compliance programs with strategic communications across a global, matrixed enterprise. This role partners with HR, Legal, and Corporate Communications to translate complex initiatives into clear, engaging messages for colleagues and leaders and to drive engaging content across channels.

The position is office-based in New York City with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field or equivalent experience.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Experience crafting internal communications in a complex, matrixed org.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute internal communications strategies for Talent & Inclusion, Corporate Citizenship, and Legal & Compliance initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex programs into clear, on-brand messages for colleagues and leaders.
Create content for intranet, town halls, leadership videos, speaking engagements and other events.
Build relationships with HR, Legal & Compliance, Global Marketing and Communications teams.
Provide guidance and execution support for global initiatives involving culture and colleague engagement.
