Job summary

AIG is seeking a Manager, Internal Communications to develop and execute strategic communications for Talent and Inclusion programs. You will work with HR, Legal and Compliance, and cross-functional teams to translate complex initiatives into clear, engaging messages for colleagues and leaders.

The role is based in New York City, with an office-based arrangement 4 days per week and 1 day remote. You will help shape content for intranet, events, and leadership communications while leveraging

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in internal communications within a global company.
• HR or Internal Communications experience; digital experience a plus
• Able to work independently and in a team with strong judgment and delivery
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; effective presentation abilities
• Executive presence and ability to address challenges and share best practices
• Strong relationship management and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies for Talent and Inclusion priorities, translating complex programs into clear, on-brand communications.
• Collaborate with Corporate Citizenship to highlight volunteerism and giving initiatives and showcase AIG's purpose and values.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to develop and execute employee-facing communications on policies and expectations.
• Create engaging, high-quality content for internal and external channels to communicate progress.
• Build trusted relationships with HR, Legal, Communications, and the broader enterprise.
• Provide strategic guidance and execution support for global initiatives involving change, culture and engagement.
• Assist with planning and executing events such as Town Halls and leadership meetings.
• Produce announcements, talking points, scripts, presentations and intranet articles.
• Manage multiple initiatives from planning through execution with aligned messaging and timing.
• Leverage metrics to assess effectiveness and propose data-informed improvements.
