Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in the supply chain, import, or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, SCM, or Logistics.
• Experience with ERP/MRP/Demand Planning systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide supply chain analytics support through inventory reporting, safety stock adjustment, and performance metrics.
• Manage end-to-end Direct Import programs from PO receipt to delivery to customer distribution center or port of entry.
• Serve as primary contact for customer replenishment and Asia order management teams; respond to inquiries and changes.
• Review, validate, and place direct import orders ensuring accuracy of item, quantity, pricing and ship window.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers and factories on production schedules, booking timelines, and cargo readiness dates.
• Manage container bookings, consolidation planning, and load optimization with freight forwarders.
• Create, review, and process international shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor on-water inventory and ETA; communicate delays and recovery options.
• Maintain customer-specific routing guides, labeling, packaging, and EDI compliance.
• Partner with customs brokers on entry filing, HTS classification, and trade compliance.
• Track and report Direct Import program metrics (on-time ship, on-time delivery, fill rate, cost variance).
• Support customer line reviews and new-item setup with lead time, MOQs, and cost inputs.
• Manage invoice and First cost process with customers.
• Prepare and distribute recurring inventory reports (on-hand, on-order, aged, obsolete, weeks of supply, turns).
• Analyze demand variability and lead time performance to adjust safety stock.
• Prepare and attend weekly meetings to support supply chain metrics reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis for leadership on cost reduction and network optimization.
• Maintain system data integrity in item master for assigned items (lead times, planning parameters).
