Job summary

New Reach, a Tempe-based company focused on financial literacy training, seeks an Event Coordinator to plan, organize and manage all events, ensuring they run smoothly and align with brand vision. This role involves researching vendors, budgeting, booking venues, and coordinating with multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of event coordination experience with large audiences, a Bachelor's degree or higher, strong communication, and excellent budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of focus Event Coordination experience with 2000+ attendees.
• Bachelor's degree or higher is REQUIRED.
• Proven track record of organizing successful events.
• Proficient in Google Workspace programs.
• Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenses.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability.
• Well organized and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Event Director and Brand Visionary to understand event requirements.
• Research vendors (catering, speakers, decor, venues) and advise on quality and costs.
• Some travel will be required.
• Plan event details (seating, dining, venue, speakers, accommodations) and overall experience.
• Handle day-to-day admin of events and programs, including orders and budgets.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and venues.
• Collaborate across Finance, Marketing, Community and HR during planning.
• Keep budgets and timelines under control.
• Address event-related issues and plan for contingencies.
