Job summary

Resources Global Professionals (RGP) seeks a hands-on General Ledger Accounting Manager to lead the GL team, streamline the close, strengthen reconciliations, and maximize NetSuite capabilities in a growth-driven environment near Downtown Los Angeles. This on-site heavy role offers a 4-month contract with potential extension.

The position requires 7+ years of accounting experience with strong GL close skills and leadership, plus NetSuite proficiency or strong desire to develop it.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience with strong GL close and reconciliation background.
• Prior leadership/management experience is REQUIRED.
• Retail, consumer products, or related brick & mortar experience highly preferred.
• Proficiency in NetSuite is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the monthly GL close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage and mentor the GL team through change and growth.
• Drive enhancements to reconciliation processes and close calendar consolidation.
• Optimize NetSuite functionality to support process improvements.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies and internal controls in a public-company environment.
