Job summary

Rimkus seeks an experienced Manager to lead General Ledger & Corporate Accounting in Houston. This role oversees GL integrity, financial close, and governance, partnering with finance leadership on ERP transformation and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership in multi-entity environments. This role supports cross-functional initiatives in a global professional services setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and close responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ledger accounting.
• Experience supervising or developing accounting professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain GL integrity and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Support consolidated financial reporting across entities and locations.
• Drive improvements to close speed, quality, and predictability.
