Description:
Better Together is seeking a Strategic Gifts Advisor to identify, engage, and build relationships with new philanthropic partners who can help advance our mission of strengthening families and communities. This is a frontline donor acquisition role focused on prospecting and developing relationships with major donors, foundations, corporate partners, and high-net-worth individuals. The Strategic Gifts Advisor will research and qualify prospective donors, conduct proactive outreach, secure introductory meetings, and build a strong pipeline of future philanthropic investments. This role is ideal for a driven relationship builder who enjoys opening doors, creating new opportunities, and connecting mission-aligned individuals with meaningful ways to make an impact.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years of experience in fundraising, sales, business development, donor relations, or another relationship-driven role with a proven ability to generate new opportunities. Candidates should be confident prospecting and engaging high-net-worth individuals, business leaders, foundations, or other key decision-makers. Strong communication, networking, organization, and relationship-building skills are essential. Experience using Salesforce or another CRM is preferred. Candidates should be self-motivated, comfortable with proactive and cold outreach, able to travel as needed, and strongly aligned with Better Together’s mission and core values.
