Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, is seeking a Geologist/Mining Engineer to develop long-term reserves of stone, sand and gravel across Central and Southern Utah. The role supports quarry operations by defining strategies to extend reserves and Life of Mining (LOM). Based in St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Mine Engineering.
• 5+ years as Geologist or Mine Engineer at an active mine site.
• Knowledge of LOM resource/reserves, pit designs, and 5-year block models.
• Surveying knowledge and GPS experience.
• Strategic thinking and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, secure, and develop high quality aggregate reserves for our operations.
• Liaise with State and Federal agencies, academics, and industry partners.
• Develop long-term LOM plans and annual schedules for reserves and land use.
• Maintain 3D geologic models and generate LOM/striping plans for communication.
