Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, seeks a Geologist/Mining Engineer to develop long-term reserves of stone, sand and gravel and support quarry operations in Utah. Travel and cross-site work may be required.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Mine Engineering and 5+ years’ experience at an active mine site. You will model reserves, coordinate with agencies, and lead multi-year LOM planning efforts.

The Geologist/Mining Engineer is responsible for developing long term reserves of quality stone, sand and gravel throughout Central and Southern Utah. The position is responsible for supporting all aggregate plant operations within Central and Southern Utah by clearly defining strategies to improve Life of Mining (LOM) and extend quarry reserves. Ideally this position will be based in St. George, Utah. However, it could be based at any of our operations in Central & Southern Utah (this would require additional travel).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
