Job summary

Kids for the Future in Texas is seeking a General Manager to lead operations for the Dallas/Fort Worth branch, overseeing the design, installation, and service of building technology systems.

The role requires a business degree and extensive management experience in HVAC or related fields, with a focus on profitability, strategic planning, and team development.

You will work with executives to develop annual plans, manage contracts, and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business (BBA) or related field required; MBA preferred.
• Five or more years of management experience in engineering, installation and service of building technology systems.
• Ten years in HVAC, BAS, Security or Professional Building Services with operations management experience.
• Understanding of contract law, taxes and construction contracts.
• Proven ability to manage people and coordinate growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee application, design, promotion, installation, verification and service of all company products.
• Develop and administer new products and services in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
• Market to building owners, developers, architects and engineers of turnkey packages.
• Lead planning and employee development for the branch and departments.
• Meet bookings, revenue, earnings and customer satisfaction targets.
• Forecast resources and monitor branch performance against plans.
• Establish branch structure and recruit/retain staff as needed.
• Set quarterly goals and communicate them to management.
• Drive innovations to reduce costs, improve products and safety.
• Oversee contracts and ensure profitability and feasibility.
