Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Senior Counsel for the Windows & Doors business unit to act as the primary legal partner to BU leadership. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the role guides strategy, risk, and compliance across product development, manufacturing, sales, and distribution.

You will draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, manage outside counsel, and advise on governance, IP, and regulatory matters to enable business growth while controlling risk.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law.
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with at least 4 years supporting a business unit preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, or construction/building materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated legal business partner for the Windows & Doors BU leadership.
• Provide proactive legal guidance across product development, manufacturing, sales and distribution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Manage outside counsel relationships and legal budgets.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and antitrust policies.
• Advise on IP, product liability, real estate, and trade compliance.
