Job summary

Goal Solutions, headquartered in San Diego, CA, seeks an experienced General Counsel to serve as a strategic business partner and senior legal leader. You will guide growth, complex transactions, regulatory matters, and day-to-day decisions while partnering with Compliance, Finance, Operations, and external counsel.

You will lead the legal function, advance commercial contracts, manage litigation, and shape strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• JD with active license to practice law and good standing.
• 15+ years of progressive legal experience, including litigation and contracts.
• Experience advising executive leadership and managing outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Advise executive leadership on legal, governance, risk, and strategic matters.
• Oversee litigation, disputes, and outside counsel strategy.
• Review and negotiate complex commercial agreements and support M&A.
• Support regulatory inquiries, audits, and enterprise risk initiatives.
• Lead and manage the legal department, budget, and processes.
