Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with the Illinois state bar.
• 5–10+ years of relevant legal experience, including in-house corporate counsel experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of corporate matters including commercial contracting, employment, compliance, IP, and risk management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, and supplier agreements with high annual values.
• Develop and maintain contract review processes, templates, and policies balancing commercial and legal protections.
• Provide employment-law counseling to management and HR on hiring, performance, discipline, leaves, and policy matters.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on IP, litigation, and regulatory issues; monitor legal developments.
