Job summary

Kuakini Health System seeks a Development Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement fundraising programs, with emphasis on planned giving and endowments, supporting capital projects and new services.

Experience in fundraising and CRM desirable; Japanese language skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year public relations, advertising, and/or marketing experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience and/or education in business management, finance, or related areas.
• Experience in fundraising and related activities preferred; experience with donor databases or CRM systems desirable. Hospital/healthcare-setting or nonprofit experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, organizing, and implementing fundraising programs and activities, particularly planned giving and endowments.
• Works collaboratively across the Development team to ensure seamless execution of campaigns, cultivation events, and donor stewardship efforts.
• Supports capital improvement projects and acquisition of equipment.
• Reflect Kuakini's Caring is Our Tradition culture in all donor relations and campaigns.
