Job summary

Lunalilo Home in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks a Development & Communications Coordinator to lead day-to-day fundraising, donor engagement, and external communications under executive leadership. You will manage donor records, craft stories, and oversee newsletters and social media to illustrate organizational impact.

The role collaborates across programs to gather outcomes, create content, and share updates with donors and community partners, strengthening engagement and support for kupuna care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fundraising campaigns, appeals, donor outreach, and development initiatives.
• Develop and maintain an annual development and communications calendar for appeals, stewardship, newsletters, and events.
• Maintain donor data in the donor management system with accurate records.
• Generate routine and ad hoc fundraising and engagement reports.
• Coordinate donor stewardship, acknowledgments, updates, and inquiries.
• Assist leadership with donor information, correspondence, and materials.
• Manage newsletter and stakeholder communications, gathering content and editing stories.
• Manage social media; develop, schedule, and post content.
• Gather content across the organization and create basic graphics for fundraising and social media.
• Coordinate fundraising, donor, and community events.
• Manage routine development and communications projects and keep leadership informed.
• Build positive relationships with donors, volunteers, staff, partners, and vendors.
