Kuakini Health System seeks a Development Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement fundraising programs, with emphasis on planned giving and endowments, supporting capital projects and new services.
The role collaborates across the Development team to ensure seamless campaigns, donor stewardship, and cultivation events that reflect Kuakini's Caring is Our Tradition culture.
Experience in fundraising and CRM desirable; Japanese language skills preferred.
Assists in planning, organizing, and implementing fundraisingprograms and activities, particularly planned giving and endowments, to helpfund capital improvement projects, developing new programs and services, andacquisition of equipment at the Health System and its subsidiaries. TheDevelopment Coordinator works collaboratively across the Development team toensure seamless execution of campaigns, cultivation events, and donorstewardship efforts that reflect Kuakini's 'Caring is Our Tradition' culture.
High schooldiploma or equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelor Degree in communications,public relations, business administration, non-profit management, or a relatedfield preferred. Minimum one (1) yearpublic relations, advertising, and/or marketing experience required. Minimum 1 year experience and/or education inbusiness management, finance, or related areas required; or any combination ofeducation and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skillsand abilities to meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Experience in fundraising and related activitiespreferred. Experience with donordatabase or CRM systems is desirable. Hospital/healthcare-setting or communitynon-profit experience desirable. Abilityto speak, read, and write in Japanese preferred.
