Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Director of Fulfillment Operations in Litchfield Park, AZ. You will lead omnichannel fulfillment, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure financial performance across daily operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in logistics, with 5+ years in management. Expect LEAN-driven process improvements, collaboration with sales, and strong vendor relations. This position emphasizes safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5+ years of operations experience in an automated multi-channel order fulfillment environment.
• 10+ years of experience in the distribution/logistics industry.
• 3–5 years of use of WES and WCS including building and optimizing production control and flow management.
• 5+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for fulfillment operations.
• Develop and manages through a budget process.
• Evaluate, measure, and refine processes to improve service, quality, and efficiency.
• Improve customer satisfaction through solid relationships, service levels, and quality.
• Incorporate LEAN practices and methodologies within the facility.
• Improve employee satisfaction through better working conditions and proactive communication.
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to develop, coach, and mentor staff.
• Produce timely monthly reporting and ensure proper billing.
• Collaborate with sales on new customer solutions and presentations.
• Identify new business opportunities and implement solutions within existing client base.
• Manage value-added services including call center, reverse logistics, and kitting/assembly.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure objectives are met within policy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain safety standards.
