Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Fuel Program Manager to lead our company-wide fuel strategy. You will oversee fuel purchasing, planning, card controls, fraud prevention, reporting, and data analysis to drive efficiency and cost savings across the fleet.

The role focuses on developing dashboards, monitoring KPIs, and delivering data-driven recommendations. Remote work potential is noted, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and decision‑making abilities required.
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization for reporting and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of fuel management, fleet operations, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the company’s fuel management program.
• Develop policies, procedures, internal controls, and fraud prevention measures.
• Manage fuel purchasing, fueling plans, and utilization by location/route.
• Issue, track, monitor, and cancel fuel cards.
• Audit fuel transactions for errors, misuse, and fraud.
• Prepare reports on fuel costs, utilization, and efficiency.
