Job summary

NFI is seeking a Customer Account Manager in Irving, TX, to drive growth and operational excellence for existing brokerage customers. The role blends account management with shipper experience oversight, reporting to the Director of Brokerage Operations.

You will manage multi-level shipper relationships, negotiate pricing, and lead business reviews. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in freight brokerage or logistics are preferred, with travel possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in freight brokerage, account management, or logistics operations (FTL, LTL, Intermodal).
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and claims processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage shipper relationships to ensure retention and expansion.
• Drive revenue growth across FTL, LTL, and Intermodal.
• Deliver operational performance aligned with KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead customer business reviews with performance dashboards and scorecards.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership on growth strategies.
