Job summary

Exelixis is seeking a Senior Finance Manager - R&D to partner with the PSC organization, delivering financial forecasts and strategic analyses for manufacturing, validation, drug substance, and related activities. You will advise the Head of PSC and cost center leaders, ensuring disciplined resource allocation and timely financial reporting.

You will own the planning for CMC groups, drive forecast accuracy, and support month-end close and accrual processes, contributing to overall R&D

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline with 9 years of related experience; or MS/MBA/MA with 7 years.
• CMC / technical operations forecasting experience required.
• Minimum 5 years in Public Biotech/Pharmaceuticals and in a business-partner-facing finance role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PSC functional leaders to drive results aligned with corporate targets/objectives.
• Develop bottoms-up PSC financial forecasts and monitor performance against forecasts.
• Own the financial planning process for all CMC groups (manufacturing, validation, drug substance, product, testing, biologics).
• Drive discipline and accountability across PSC teams; align projections with development timelines.
• Support monthly close processes; validate PSC accruals with accounting.
• Develop clinical trial forecasts reflecting study plans and requirements.
• Serve as FP&A point of contact for PSC CAPEX.
• Assist with clinical accruals and site accrual model updates.
