Job summary

Exelixis Inc. invites applications for Senior Finance Manager - R&D to serve as the primary finance partner to the PSC organization. You will drive financial forecasts, prepare management reports, and support close processes for CMC, manufacturing, and testing activities.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in biotech/pharma finance, strong FP&A background, and proficiency with Oracle EPBCS, Hyperion, or Netsuite. This role is based in the United States and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Education: BS/BA in related discipline with 9 years of experience or MS/MBA with 7 years.
Experience in CMC/technical operations forecasting required.
5+ years in biotech/pharma and in business-partner-facing finance roles.
Experience with financial planning systems (Oracle EPBCS, Hyperion, Netsuite) preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with PSC leaders to align with corporate targets.
Develop bottoms-up PSC financial forecasts and monitor performance.
Own FP&A for all CMC groups including manufacturing, validation, drug substance/product, testing, and biologics.
Drive discipline across PSC teams and align projections with clinical timelines.
Support monthly close and validate accruals with accounting.
