Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager for an onsite role in Boca Raton, FL. The position is contract to hire and focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to guide strategic decisions. You will partner with cross-functional leaders and accounting, delivering insights and executive-ready analysis.

You will build and maintain three-statement models, perform variance analysis, and support leadership with board-ready materials in a regulated biopharma setting.

Qualifications

• Proven 6+ years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related finance roles.
• Strong Excel, financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis skills.
• Experience owning or supporting annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Variance analysis experience: Actual vs Budget, Forecast, Prior Year and drivers.
• Collaborates with Accounting and business leaders for accurate reporting and forecast alignment.
• Experience supporting executive leadership presentations and board materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead portions of the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models supporting strategic decisions.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses comparing actual results to budget/forecast.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecast alignment.
• Collaborate with department leaders to incorporate trends into plans and forecasts.
• Support executive management reporting, leadership reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and data integrity.
• Contribute to manufacturing cost analysis and operational finance activities in a regulated biopharma environment.
• Present financial insights to senior leadership with executive presence.
