Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting and month-end close across six business units. You will drive complex modeling, pricing evaluations, and strategic partnerships while guiding a team of financial analysts.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business-unit leaders to influence forecasts and business decisions, with a focus on thought leadership and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years financial services experience.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Hands-on management style with the ability to successfully prioritize, organize and manage multiple and often competing tasks.
• Ability to work across a complex organization, developing relationships and coordinating multiple priorities with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functionally partner with business unit leaders to lead annual budget, forecast and month-end close reporting; develop understanding of each unit and commentary on variances and drivers.
• Quantify financial impacts of operational risks and opportunities and apply insights to planning/forecasting.
• Conduct complex financial modeling and analysis to quantify new business opportunities and assess viability of new models.
• Manage and develop a staff of Financial Analysts.
• Develop key financial optimization models, including Retail and Wholesale pricing models.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
