Mach Industries seeks a Strategic Finance Associate (FP&A) to build planning, forecasting, modeling, and reporting capabilities. You will link product and operational performance to financial outcomes, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, design, and accounting leaders.

The role emphasizes learning complex products and translating technical details into financial drivers, with a focus on driving scalable processes and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, financial analysis, investment banking, consulting, or related field.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build processes in an evolving environment and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across finance and technical teams.
• Ability and interest in learning complex products in depth and translating engineering, design, and manufacturing details into financial drivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop foundational planning cadence, including the annual budget, rolling forecasts, assumptions, and stakeholder inputs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand Mach’s products, roadmap, and operating model, translating plans into financial drivers.
• Create and maintain driver‑based models covering revenue, costs, headcount, production capacity, capital needs, and program economics.
• Analyze actual results against plan and forecast, explain variances, and identify underlying business drivers.
• Develop management reporting and KPIs with defined metrics and reliable data sources.
• Partner with accounting on monthly results and help document processes to scale the function.
• Support scenario analysis for business and investment decisions and communicate concise financial insights.
• Assist on special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
