Job summary

Allen Control Systems seeks an FP&A Manager to build and run the FP&A function for a production-driven defense technology company. You will own planning, reporting, and KPI development, partnering with the VP of FP&A on capital strategy and translating complex government contract economics into actionable insights.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting, mentoring analysts as the function scales. On-site in Austin, TX, with a growth trajectory toward $1B in revenue.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience in a high-growth, capital-intensive environment.
• Experience with complex revenue models including government contracts and milestone billing.
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnering to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support annual operating plan and rolling 3–5 year forecast.
• Build scenario analyses and prepare board/investor reporting components.
• Own monthly close-to-forecast variance analysis and cash forecasting support.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Government Contracts, and Operations to design budgets and scalable FP&A processes.
