Furientis in Los Angeles is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with engineers and senior leadership, owning budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, capital planning, and financial analysis as the company builds these capabilities from the ground up.

This hands-on role requires turning messy data into practical insights, building models, and creating lightweight processes where none existed, while defending investment decisions with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or related experience.
• Strong financial modeling and budgeting skills.
• Experience evaluating capital investments preferred.
• Startup environment experience appreciated.
• Able to communicate with executives and non-finance teams.
• Advanced Excel and BI tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the finance lead and strategic partner to engineers and senior leaders.
• Build and own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes as the organization scales.
• Own financial models for P&L, headcount, operating expenses, capital investments, and long-range planning.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for leadership needs.
• Lead capital planning and evaluate major investments across facilities and infrastructure.
• Turn incomplete or messy financial and operational data into useful analysis.
• Build business cases and advise leadership on trade-offs across hiring, capital, operating spend, and investments.
• Partner across engineering, operations, supply chain, facilities, and program management.
• Build and improve finance systems, tools, and processes with emphasis on automation.
• Produce clear financial analysis and recommendations for executive leadership.
