Job summary

Outschool is seeking a driven FP&A and Strategic Finance Manager to join the Finance team. The ideal candidate will own budgets, forecasts, and financial models while partnering with business teams to guide strategic decisions.

You will work with multiple departments across the organization to measure performance, support growth, and communicate insights to executives and investors. This role emphasizes strategic finance in a fast-growing online marketplace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Experience building financial and operating models for growth-stage companies
• Experience shaping financial strategies for public and/or private companies
• Ability to frame finances in the context of mission and social impact
• Excellent communication skills with senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ability to challenge status quo and identify opportunities for growth
• Experience building reports and metrics for leaders
• Strong data-centric approach to business judgement
• Proactive mindset with urgency to improve the Finance function
• Experience in Revenue Forecasting and LTV/CAC analysis with Marketing teams

Responsibilities

• Support company-wide budgeting and forecasting with stakeholders
• Maintain forward-looking financial models for long-term growth
• Track financial and operational performance metrics for scaling
• Provide monthly/quarterly/annual reporting to board and investors
• Collaborate on growth initiatives with Marketing and Growth teams
