Job summary

Career Now Brands is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to own budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. This hands-on role builds client- and account-level profitability analysis and ROI frameworks for new projects while collaborating with sales on pricing and headcount decisions.

You will lead cash flow forecasting and partner with the leadership team on strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FP&A or comparable analytical finance role with end-to-end forecast ownership
• Advanced financial modeling skills in driver-based models and scenario analysis
• Strong SQL and ability to query data warehouses and BI tools
• Experience in recurring-revenue or services business analytics (cohorts, churn, LTV)
• GAAP-based financials and monthly close, with accounting partnership experience
• Proven track record of influencing decisions with data-driven recommendations
• Nice to have: marketing services, media buying, HR tech, HubSpot/Snowflake/Tableau, board reporting, M&A exposure
• Commercial curiosity to understand client profitability and product value delivery
• Strong communication and ability to present to non-financial audiences
• Accountable, resourceful, productive, and willing to push back when data disagrees

Responsibilities

• Own annual budget, rolling forecast, and monthly variance analysis with leadership storytelling
• Build client- and account-level profitability analyses (revenue, spend, delivery cost, contribution margin)
• Analyze performance vs plan across revenue, logos, retention, churn, and unit economics
• Develop ROI framework for new projects and headcount; measure post-implementation return
• Collaborate with sales/marketing on pricing, deals, quotas, and commissions
• Produce monthly/quarterly leadership and board reporting with KPI narratives
• Own cash flow forecasting and support monthly close with accounting partners
• Transform data from HubSpot, Snowflake, QuickBooks, and ad platforms into metrics with data team
• Identify opportunities in underserved segments, partnerships, and adjacent verticals
• Monitor industry trends and translate into plan implications
• Raise standards for financial operating cadence and governance
